April 20, 2023. Today I thought I would be writing about 32/5, but I did the math incorrectly and it's really a 22/4 day.  This in Tarot is called the the Fool or the Jester."In the earliest tarot decks, the Fool is usually depicted as a beggar or a vagabond. In the Visconti-Sforza tarot deck, the Fool wears ragged clothes and stockings without shoes, and carries a stick on his back. He has what appear to be feathers in his hair. His unruly beard and feathers may relate to the tradition of the woodwose or wild man. Another early Italian image that relates to the tradition is the first (and lowest) of the series of the so-called Tarocchi of Mantegna. This series of prints containing images of social roles, allegorical figures, and classical deities begins with Misero, a depiction of a beggar leaning on a staff.[2] A similar image is contained in the German Hofämterspiel; there the fool (German: Narr) is depicted as a barefoot man in robes, apparently with bells on his hood, playing a bagpipe.[3]" from wikipedia"   This is the journey of the Jester, everything is silly, unproven, a joke, but he finds as he journeys much to believe in. How many of us can understand this perspective of the Jester? I know I can. What does this number say to me? It's a double 2, so 22, and this number because its doubled has more power. The 2 is usually about being cooperative and in partnership with others. The magnification of this number shows us people who cannot make a decision without involving everyone in the decision, vascillation in the very definition of vascillation.  They overthink everything, but what if it's on the positive side of the 22, this is a master communicator. This day can be a day of masterful communication or a day of  paralysis. As always, you are the one who chooses.

In the book, A Beginner's Guide to Constructing the Universe, by Michael S. Schneider, he talks about how the 2 is a number that faces the past. This is true in relationships, often the best moments are in the past for a relationship.  And t it always takes 2 to tango. You can dance by yourself, but you can't replace the other person in a  tango. Here's a quote by Karl Menninger (1893-1990) "In the Two we experience the very essence  of number more intensely than in other numbers, that essence being to bind any together into one, to equate plurality and unity. Our mind divides the world into heaven and earth, day and night, light and darkness, right and left, man and woman, I and you--and the more strongly we sense the separation between these poles, whatever  they may be, the more powerfully do we also sense their unity."

The two seems to revolt from unity and makes it suspicious. the Duality is from the two. But what richness it brings to our world. As Karl Menninger said, the light and the dark, the man and the woman. The two was said to have an audacity to it because of it's boldness in separation from the original wholeness and anguish due to its inevitable yearning to return to unity. It was called the distress, falling short and the lie and illusion. Today we use this thought when we use the phrases, "two faced" and "speaking with a forked tongue."

But honestly its just a notion that we separate from the 1 when we use the 2. It's a story that has been told. Let's engage in telling the story in a positive way. What about the  2 on the way to Emmaus. They were together speaking together, and pondering the happenings of the day. When we are just one, we ponder within ourselves, but we have no other to bounce our thoughts off of.   How many of us love discourse? It's really a fun and helpful thing to use for growing and reflection.  The magnet is a pure expression of the dual, or dyad. Opposite poles attract  and like poles repel. No magnet with other than two poles has every been found or can be created. Today we consider one and two as merely number quantities, not realizing  they are symbols of basic facts! Ancient mathematical philosophers did not consider one and two to be numbers themselves, since their representations point and line, are not actual. A point, the 1, has no dimension and a line, the 2,  just one dimension.

What has the frequency of a 22/4 in essential oils? Lavender, ledum, and Rue. How many of you have used lavender to have better sleep or to calm a wound, or a burn? It brings peace and it also helps when there is intense anger. Here is what Gary Young had to say about Lavender in his book, Essential oils, Integrative Medical Guide, "Lavender is antiseptic, analgesic, antitumoral, anticonvulsant, anti-inflammatory and a sedative." So it's at work combating the negatives, as said above and it is also considered a sedative.  Often people can't sleep from worry, and lavender takes that worry from us and allows us to sleep while it does the fight for us.  Ledum is also a 4/22, and he says about it almost the very same thing. "Ledum is known to be anti-inflammatory, antitumoral, antibacterial, a  hepato-protectant, a diuretic , and a decongestant. What about Rue "Rue (Ruta) essential oil is known as the herb of grace and may help you create a grounded atmosphere so you can take in what’s right in front of you. Rue belongs to the Rutaceae family, commonly known as the rue or citrus family, of flowering plants. This essential oil comes from Young Living’s Finca Botanica Farm and Distillery in Chongon, Ecuador, and it is included in RutaVaLa™, Common Sense™, and Sleep Essence™.  You could think you were reading about Lavender from that description.

What does the 22 result in? well the 4, something of substance will be forthcoming, and that is what you see when you use lavender, it results in peace, it results in calm, it results in relief.  The results are definitely there.

Let today be a day of masterful communication for you and also a day of peace.  Lavender can be taken internally, if it is sourced from Young Living, and can be applied topically, and it's a wonderful oil to diffuse or inhale as well.   It's called the Swiss knife of essential oils because it is so versatile.  422 tells us it is calm and gentle, both emotionally and physically and results in something of substance because of the 4.  Check out the EON app, Essence of Numbers for more information about numbers and essential oils. And if you are interested in obtaining the finest, closest to its original form free of additives and chemicals, you will want to check out Young Living. Absolutely the best. 4/22 blog
